I like the nostalgia and clear appreciation shown towards the original trilogy.
I dislike all the new charchters being churned through the meat grinder of mediocrity.

Let me start off by saying that I never write reviews. Star Wars means a lot to me. I felt compelled to write this to warn people, without spoilers, about how bad this film is.
The most important thing to note is that the film was left with pretty much nothing to build on from The Last Jedi. Its pretty obvious from the get go. The opening crawl is short and doesn"t really explain enough on what"s been happening in the lead up to things as they are.
This movie feels rushed. It"s all over the place. The acting, at times, is poor. Adam Driver, though, done a fantastic job with Kylo Ren. Other than that, thumbs down. The CGI, sound effects and music are, of course, fantastic. Sadly, they don"t compensate for the rest of this mess. There are plot holes everywhere and Disney push their political agenda in the closing act where there"s absolutely no need for it.
The bottom line here is, JJ has done the best that he could with the tools (and bad story) that he"s been given. A lot of this movie is fan service - try not to buy into it. Look past it and you"ll see that it"s a mess and an unsatisfactory end to a 9-movie story that quite frankly didn"t need to happen.
Save yourself the money. Don"t support this mess. You"ll thank me later.

I was waiting for Shaggy to say ZOINKS the whole time. I grew up on Scooby Doo, it was my favorite show growing up. I loved how they kept Scooby original and the cast for Fred, Velma, and Daphne was not bad. The big problem I had with it was Shaggy, like the movie made him out to be a weird kinda creepy introvert. It didn"t help that the voice actor was pretty bad, like how hard could it be to get Mathew Lillard back. The movie was overall disappointing because I felt Shaggy"s character got shorted.
